The Sunshine Coast is currently home to loads of Indians, and the number is ever increasing. The Indians on the Coast are mostly a fun-loving, friendly lot with a sunny disposition, ever ready to gup-shup over a cuppa, direct you to the nearest Indian grocery store, or simply, to make you feel right at home. Only hitch is, being so widely spread out, it’s not always possible to ‘catch up’ and stay in touch with all the Indians around.

The Association, for all practical purposes, is a Social Club, and aims to provide a common cultural platform for people from the community to get together on a regular basis, renew old associations and enjoy new ones.

The Committee is simply a group of committed individuals who are able to share some of their time, skills and ideas to come up with different, interesting stuff to do together, be it a picnic, cricket on the beach, a movie screening, or something for the kids during school holidays. Mainly and most-utterly-importantly, we're striving to keep our culture alive in the next generation, our children.
